Fall Books from Usborne Books and More
This post is specifically for my Usborne Books readers – and for my future Usborne Books readers. 🙂 We have several books from Usborne in our home library. They are favorites with my daycare children. They are durable, educational, and visually appealing. Here is a list of Fall Books from Usborne Books and More. You’ll want to check them out and add some of them (or all of them) to your home or school library. I have to tell you up front that I have not read these books to my kids yet. I just got the list a few days ago. This post is so that those of you who follow my posts about Usborne will know that these books are available.
The Thank You Dish by Trace Balla is a book that encourages thankfulness. Click here to learn more about this book.
Fall is a time when families harvest the last of the produce from their gardens. Secrets of the Vegetable Garden by Carron Brown is a great book for teaching children all about gardens. It’s a Shine-A-Light Book. Hold a page up to the light to reveal what is hidden in and around the vegetable garden, and discover a small world of great surprises. Fall is a great time to get outdoors. The weather is cooling off so it is a good time for families to get outside and do things together. The Outdoor Book by Alice James and Emily Bone is a book of outdoor activities for families. The book includes activities for families to do together night, day, rain, or shine. Children will enjoy experimenting with different patterns and combinations. Click here to learn more about this book.
Woodland Creatures by Emily Bone is perfect for kids who love animals. This one is an Usborne Young Beginners. It is intended for children ages 3 and up. Click here to learn more about this book.
Fall means it gets darker earlier. Send the kids to bed with Animal Stories for Bedtime by Susanna Davidson and Katie Daynes. This bedtime storybook includes classic stories such as The Three Little Pigs, How Did the Elephant Get Its Trunk, and Chicken Licken. Click here to learn more about this book.
Another animal book for kids who love animals, That’s Not My Hedgehog by F. Watt and R. Wells is a touchy-feely book. Kids love touching the different textures throughout the book. We have the Baby’s Very First Touchy-Feely Animals Book by Stella Baggott and the kids love it. I see them get it out every day. Young kids love to touch and feel the textures as they read with you. It really does enhance the reading experience for the youngest of readers. They won’t just love the book. They will learn to love reading. Click here to learn more about this book.
