Heartbeat is Finally Released and is Available Now!
I am thrilled to announce that my novel, Heartbeat, is now available! This is a story that I’ve poured my heart and soul into, and I’m over the moon to finally be able to share it with the world. Heartbeat is more than just a novel. It’s a testament to the strength of womanhood and the importance of relationships, but mostly it is a testament to faith in God who creates life. The Story
Heartbeat explores the lives of three young women: Angela, Jessica, and Sarah. Each woman grapples with her own set of challenges, but they all have one thing in common: they all face unplanned pregnancies. Angela, Jessica, and Sarah represent different walks of life, but their situations bring them together in a story that is simultaneously heartrending and uplifting. More importantly, their stories testify to the strength and resilience of women who put their trust in God, particularly when faced with unplanned pregnancies.
The Unlikely Connection
Enter Emily, a student at Pleasant Grove University. Emily volunteers her time at the local pregnancy care center where Angela, Jessica, and Sarah seek help. Despite her own challenges, Emily commits to making a difference in the lives of these women. Furthermore, Emily’s story intertwines with those of Angela, Jessica, and Sarah, creating a tapestry of hope, faith, mercy, grace, and forgiveness.
One Purpose Under Heaven
Finally, the circumstances surrounding each situation bring them all together for one purpose under heaven: saving lives, one heartbeat at a time. Through their journeys, they discover the true meaning of the sanctity of human life. They learn that every heartbeat matters, and that each life, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, is precious. This is a story makes you think, makes you feel, and, above all, makes you appreciate the miracle of every single life, every single heartbeat inside the wombs of their mothers.
Why “Heartbeat”?
I chose the title, “Heartbeat,” with much thought and deliberation. It symbolizes the very essence of life. Every heartbeat represents a life, a potential, a future. Each heartbeat in this story – whether it’s the literal heartbeat of a child in the womb, or the metaphorical heartbeat of a woman facing her fears – is a testament to the power of placing your faith in God who is sovereign over all things, over all situations, over all pregnancies, planned and unplanned, over every life He creates from conception until earthly death.
